‘Mighty’ Matt Staudt

Matt Staudt Jr. is the Founder & CEO of Anchor Social LLC, a digital marketing firm based in Las Vegas, NV. With over 15 years experience, Matt has been working in the marketing and advertising fields since he was a young teenager.

At the age of 15 Matt started working at his father’s firm, Interactive Marketing Group (IMG), a boutique, full-service marketing agency consisting of 150 employees at it’s height and located in Allendale, NJ. Matt performed many entry-level part-time jobs and projects throughout high school and across various departments within the business. As a result, by the age of age 18 he had direct working experience in the areas of telemarketing, web design, graphic design, data collection and analysis, print design, email marketing, and dealer channel marketing.

Matt started attended Hofstra University in 2002 after graduating from Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, NJ. In his freshman year the courses he took and found interesting were directly related to his previous real world experiences but few of the required classes held his interest. For this reason after two years at the University he decided to leave to work for his father’s agency again full-time. During his time at Hofstra Matt joined the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity.

In 2004 Matt returned to IMG assuming the position and responsibility of Estimating. In this role and during this time Matt was responsible for the creation of all agency estimates in the areas of creative, programming, telemarketing, print production, mailing services and all data related activities. Analysis of gross margins and coordination of time and management statistics by department to assess profitability were the primary focus of this role in order to succeed and this created a constant dialogue with Matt and every working department of the agency.

In 2006 IMG was acquired by the Indian investment & media firm EBS Worldwide Ltd. (Mumbai). At the advent of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Matt spent 6 months in Mumbai, India setting up a multifaceted fulfillment center and process for EBS and IMG and was integral in successfully integrating US and India based operations in the agency offered service areas of telemarketing, data processing, data integration, data entry and print production. Matt remained with EBS until 2010 as the Director of “Group Solutions Delivery”, a group created by EBS as a global coordination liaison.

Notable IMG clients included Sony, Panasonic, Western Pest Services, Mercedes Benz, Hertz, Rolex and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

In 2011 Matt began focusing solely on the digital side of marketing and joined as Digital Marketing Manager for Studiographica Agency (SGC) located in SoHo, NYC. In his role at SGC, Matt was coordinated project management of all the web, app & CMS development as well as fully-servicing multiple online marketing campaigns inclusive of email marketing, social media strategy, analytics and Google/Facebook ad spends.

Notable SGC clients included HARD Energy Drink, Ciroc, Citizen Watches and Casio America, Inc. Notable projects included the creation, launch and licensing of an interactive POS sales application for all Macy’s locations. Brand partners activated through the app included Rolex, Bulova, Citizen, G-SHOCK, Tag Heuer, Timex, Fossil & ESQ.

In January of 2013 Matt joined Brand Candy Media Group, a digital media agency located in Ramsey, NJ, as Director of Marketing. Matt was responsible for social media campaign creation, implementation & execution, content creation, strategy and management, digital PR, client relations, online advertising, analytics & online sweepstakes creation and administration.

Notable Brand Candy clients included Farmer’s Insurance, Meals On Wheels & the Internationally-awarded custom pool contractor Cipriano Landscape Design.

In October of 2013, Anchor Social was born, created initially as a way in which to service all of Casio America Inc’s 7 division’s social media accounts (Pro Trek, Baby-G, G-SHOCK, Edifice, Casio Education, OmniSync & Casio USA). Anchor grew rapidly over the first 6 months from a side business to an agency managing 15 ongoing, monthly accounts.

Other notable Anchor Social clients include reality star motorcycle builders Orange County Choppers, UFC SuperStars Nick & Nate Diaz and the world famous actor & director Jean-Claude Van Damme.

In January 2017 Matt co-founded Janus Sports & Entertainment with Kyle Stoltz and Matthew Aptaker assuming the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Partner.
